H1 Hackathon Trip

            For Junior Year one of the field trips I went on was a class trip in Manhattan hosted by the HackerOne which is an organization which hosts hacking competitions and I find it extremely cool as hacking is something you see in movies and to see it in real life is something that piqued my interest and the entire experience was something I will always remember. When we first arrived to the location we were greeted with the option to take free merchandise such as shirts and bottles which is pretty nice. Soon after challenges started to begin in which we had to use our know of critical thinking and problem solving in order to complete tasks such as solving a rubix cube in under 5 minutes. Then we got into challenges more involved with coding such as JavaScript and jQuery and we were taught about how code ultimately effects websites in different ways.
