Lab 12 was basically a continuation of the past two labs mainly for the reason that it dove more deep into CSS that would be useful when creating our pages. The lab introduced to the ideas of using selectors such as "class" and "id" tags these tags would make our code more organized than it originally was as it helps to not repeat code over and over again. We were also introduced to the "div" tag which is basically a container. In lab we were given plain text by Mrs. Ramirez and our job was to add HTML codes to them so we could make them look any way we wanted it too. After adding HTML code we then had to add CSS in order to make the page look unique and different from others. So no one should've ended up with the same page. For this lab I specifically used an external CSS document because I am more comfortable with using it as it organizes my code much more.

The software's used to complete this lab was Adobe Dreamweaver CC and FileZilla. FileZilla was used to upload my documents on to the server in order for my teacher to view and maybe even my peers if they wanted to. The lab was difficult because it was hard to keep up with the different "classes" and "id's" I was creating but after a while I shorten the amount of "classes" and "id's" I used which made the lab much easier to complete. The lab overall taught me the importance of selectors tags and how useful they can be. I see myself using what I learned from the lab in mostly everyone of my future projects and labs as it would organize my code.
