In the article "Are Exoskeletons the future of Physical Labor?" by Lauren Goode it discusses the future of manual labor and how exoskeletons can affect manual labor dramatically by making it a much easier task than it is now. A major company such as Ford has started taking an interest towards exoskeletons and it seems that the question whether exoskeletons are the future of physical labor will now be answered as it is becoming a reality. Paul Collin's is a worker for Ford who has been beta testing an exoskeleton vest that was created by Ekso Bionics Collin's stated then when returning he has much more energy because of the help of the exoskeleton vest. There are still errors although that need to be fixed such as the injury of one specific body part the shoulder. Another exoskeleton product was used with a paralyzed man and it enabled him to get up and walk. The companies creating these exoskeletons are focusing on building more smarter and more connected exoskeletons for the elderly. But in all exoskeletons would have a big impact towards manual labor and other problems people face. I myself am excited for what the exoskeleton would do and bring for the manual labor that people do. Exoskeletons can also affect many other areas not just manual labor the exo suits can be used to go places that a person them self cannot go in since it may be harmful to them this is the reason to look forward to the future exoskeletons would create.
