WBL Workshop 1/8

            In today's WBL workshop we talked about work safety during internships that we should be aware of if we happen to apply for one. In the beginning of the workshop it started off with a representative from the Future and Options program discussing opportunities that are available with the program. He said that they are offering internships and programs that would help us complete our WBL requirements and completing and internship is a big part of it. After talking about the benefits of the program we talked about work safety. We talked about how and when our rights as an employee would be available to protect us. An interesting thing we found out as well is that when working off the books the rights normally granted to an employee are not available to a person working off the books. This work shop overall allowed me to view the many opportunities that are available to me as a CTE student.

The first W was Why CTE students need WBL Workshops. We need these workshops so we can learned of what is required to be able to achieve a CTE diploma and not fall behind in anything that we have not completed. The second W discussed in the workshop was What are the WBL requirements. Lab #2 Reflection Journal

Brian Velazquez                                                                                                                 Digital Design            For Lab 2 we basically just built of Lab 1's HTML but I had to add 3 images of myself and all three of those images were suppose to be 3 different sizes. The image of myself was suppose to go  before the paragraph. Now to add an image to an HTML code, the image tag needs to be included in the code. Also the image source has to be included which can be done if the image is dragged into the software it is lines of codes are.
